As we sat and watched this

terrible tragedy unfold

Not believing our eyes or

what we were told

Our minds filled with questions

Our hearts filled with pain

Praying what happened

will not be in vain

We ask ourselves, where do

we go from here

What can we do to

overcome our fear

How do we honor the

loved ones we've lost

And deal with the grief

that's breaking our hearts

We can ask God for guidance

to carry us through

To be more caring in all

we say and do

To cherish each day with

our family and friends

And know in our hearts

these terrorists did not win

We'll always remember our

Heroes with Pride

But, never forget.....

The day our hearts cried.
